BENEFITS
Grow your Business... As a small business owner, you may have a long established business, or you may be just starting out. However, we all have the same goals - to grow our businesses and increase our visibility and profits.
Learn about vital and timely Business Topics... We look to you, our member businesses, to help us identify the topics for our meetings. Tell us about your challenges and concerns. Based on your requests, ISBOG plans discussions & workshops, asks members to give presentations from their own areas of expertise, and contacts business professionals to give presentations at our meetings.
Ask Questions and Seek Advice... Our informal forum allows opportunities to ask questions and receive advice and ideas from other participants.
Networking... At each meeting, participants have the opportunity to introduce themselves, distribute business cards and literature and speak briefly to the group about their own businesses. They may choose to announce a new business, product or service, or to ask a business question. Before and after the meeting, we will encourage conversation and networking among members - to seek advice, answer questions or inquire about business products or services.
ISBOG Member Directory We are pleased to offer a free Business Listing to active members in the ISBOG Member Directory, including a link to your own web site. All active ISBOG members are invited to visit our Request a Listing page to fill out the form for a FREE business listing on this web site.
ISBOG Monthly Newsletter ISBOG sends out an electronic Monthly Newsletter on the first day of each month to over 250 local businesses, and a few Sussex County residents. Active members are invited to enjoy this free advertising opportunity by submitting a business ad by the 26th or the month. |
""ISBOG offers all of the elements that I look for in a business organization; most of all, being surrounded by positive and creative people."
"ISBOG has been a wonderful source of sharing ideas, gaining clarity and networking for me and my business. I have enjoyed sharing ideas with others for their benefit, and gained a lot for my own, too."
"A recent survey showed that 70% of business owners have no one to discuss business with other than friends and family. Based on my clientele, I think this number is actually low. One of the great advantages of ISBOG is that it provides you with a forum to discuss business issues with other business owners who have had experiences that enable them to relate with what you are talking about and provide valuable feedback."
